FUREX ABC 770 DRY POWDER
ABC Dry Powder is a type of fire extinguishing agent composed of Mono Ammonium Phosphate (NH4H2PO4). Reacton® specifically selects a high-grade variant of ABC Dry Powder that contains a high content of Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP) and is coated with silicone to enhance its water repellence and fluidized flow properties. This powder is stable under extreme high and low temperatures, making it well-suited for suppressing vehicle fires. ABC Dry Powder is highly effective in firefighting and is used in situations where water-based protection is not ideal. It is non-conductive to electricity, ensuring safe protection against electrical hazards as well as Class A or B fire risks. Due to its particle size, Dry Powder provides extensive coverage for fire suppression. It rapidly absorbs the fire’s energy, heating up the particles and creating a cooling effect. Additionally, the Dry Powder acts as a chemical inhibitor, reacting with the radicals and interrupting the chemical combustion process. ABC Dry Powder is effective in extinguishing Class A, Class B, and Class C/E (Electrical) fires. The Reacton® Indirect Cylinders utilising FUREX ABC 770 Dry Powder are available in 1kg, 2kg, 4kg, 6kg, 9kg & 18kg assemblies. The CTX Indirect system consists of a CE-marked high-grade cylinder and CTX Indirect valve. The necessary safety plugs and labels are all included. All systems are supplied factory filled by Reacton®
