3M™ Novec™ 1230 is a liquid fluorinated ketone that is stored and discharged as a gas. It is non-conductive to electricity and does not leave any residue after discharge.

This fire suppression agent evenly distributes throughout the affected area and primarily suppresses fire by absorbing heat from the flame.

With a zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), a global warming potential (GWP) of only one, and an atmospheric lifetime (ALT) of just five days, 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection fluid provides an environmentally responsible choice for fire suppression.

The Reacton® DOT Indirect Cylinders utilising 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid are available in 1kg, 2kg, 4kg, 6kg, 9kg, 14kg & 18kg assemblies. The CTX Indirect system consists of a high-grade DOT marked cylinder and CTX Indirect valve. The necessary safety plugs and labels are all included. All systems are supplied factory filled by Reacton®
